Combining her professional studies with humanitarian intentions, Xlibris author Sheena James pens a sci-fi fiction tale that supports wildlife conservation in her book Angels That Came. Sheena has chosen Xlibris’ supported self-publishing services to share her story and advance her cause.

James earned her Conservation Biology degree with Second Upper Class honors in Cardiff, Wales, U.K. and later pursued a masters degree in the same study. She was also a full scholar of the Darwin Initiative, a UK government grant fund assisting developing countries in their biodiversity preservation projects. Her education landed her a career in the Habitat for Humanity in 2010, allowed her to research about the endangered orangutans, and led her to conduct more studies about wildlife conservation.
Promoting animal conservation through her Xlibris book
My name is Sheena James, and I’m a proud author of the science-fiction book called “Angels That Came” that takes place in the Kinabatangan, a protected rainforest inhabited by many species of animals. The story follows the life of Jessie Jane, a researcher who happens to work on animal conservation and other fields of science. It also narrates the tale of an Indonesian boy by the name of Agung who owns a banana plantation back home, as he relates his job to the conservation of orangutans.
Jessie Jane manages to produce some mathematical formulae, which is novel in all pursuit and is new in the Science world. The story is infused with romance, which she finds with the help of friends. The highlights of this story are telemetry, some spicy romance, and her friends.
“Angels That Came” confronts everyday socio-economic issues. Jessie Jane lobbies the use of palm oil in orangutan conservation. Not only does this book tell a story of people whom she worked with as a scientist, but it also emulates the importance of research. One of the findings includes a formula that may lead to the use of Science and Mathematics in animal conservation. Readers will also get to imagine living in the tropics and in the rich forest of Borneo, as well as gain insights about many basic mathematical formulas. These include Bayesian Method, Tangent Theorem, Binomial, Polynomial, Fisher, Rounding Up (the Table Maker Problem), Black hole, Quatronics and the Vacuum Tube (Fleming), Doppler Effect, String Theory, Azimuth, Matrix Parsimony, and the Mantel Test. Reading this will make readers feel like a scientist.

I love animals too, and right now, i have two ducks i’m raising. Now, a farmer in Louisiana, in US had his chicken wiped out by rain and flood, he was very sad, when his wife saw this she said ”next time buy ducks and ducklings, they loves water and will surely survive. So when we have a dying business, though we might have invested a lump sum of capital on it, we should give room for change, and diversify to another business, that will survive the competitive business environment. To be safe is better than to be sorry. My own area of interest are in the field of research and development, safety and reliability, construction, health, environment, good human relationship, good house keeping, synergy, team work, motivation, innovation, collaboration, cooperation, sustainability, interdependence, and networking. You’ve done a good job. Keep it up. Yusuf wasiu, xlibris author, nigeria.
