Xlibris Author Monica-Hatley Carr appears on Fox 2 to talk about her book, “I Love the Color Pink!”

Monica is formerly a news producer and radio personality, then later heeded the call of teaching when she and her husband moved to Austin, Texas. She is now an elementary school teacher who “loves molding the futures of her students.”

Inculcating optimism among children, she wrote I Love the Color Pink! narrating the adventures of the lead character named Laci Macasey. The lead character was inspired by her niece. Monica keeps her positive attitude, saying “This is only the beginning of many adventures for Laci Macasey, and I’m looking forward to taking this journey with all children across the world.”

Her book makes a good educational material, as she infuses in the story the uniqueness of every color. Moreover, the book earned a five-star review from Readers’ Favorite, and 4.5 stars on Amazon.
