Eat to live, not live to eat. This may sum up the recipe book by Xlibris author Diana Harvey Darrisaw. She invites readers to watch their health by being mindful of what they eat and pick up a copy of her book Salads Galore.
Health alert
Whatever your diet consist of, there are ways to bring foods alive to fit in. Many have diets that always include a variety of different foods. Healthy eating doesn’t just apply to the diabetics or those with other health problems. My salads do not have excessive sugar, fats, cholesterol, and sodium. Adding and subtractions in foods make the health puzzle come together for many. Ways are shown how to rearrange, and mix and match fruits and veggies. It is very rare to share recipes and their nutritional information. This is what Salad Galore is all about. Each food in the same group can offer the same nutrients; a few will have one or two additions. Because vegetables are in the same food group doesn’t mean they share the exact nutrients. Some will have more salt or different components.
Taste-Tested Recipes
You will read conversations about the book and taste testers’ opinions. We definitely enjoyed the journey in the creation of my book. Having testing parties when writing this book was so much fun and the ideas, and opinions are just unreal. What makes it worthwhile is the fact that you and your family could use others opinions to make the best food choices. Make a main meal using my salads. It is never too late to get it right. Nutrition is a major part of all of our lives. Food is life.
Tell your family and friends to come aboard and get a copy of my book that offers elegance, healthy eating, and great nutrition information. There is a saying; “You can’t judge a book by its cover.” You can for this book.
