About their Xlibris book
My father and I have kicked off the New Year by releasing our second book The Journey with Dad 2. The book is very special to us because it truly represents who I am. The character Jasmine is like me, and in the second book, I have chosen to open up about my health to make a difference to someone life’s who may have the same challenges as I do.
Looking forward to a brighter writing journey
It has been really hard adjusting to a new way of life because everything feels different—a new you and getting use to a new environment. It feels like finding yourself again. It amazes me how much my father knows me, and how much he does for me and, he is just an incredible father. Hopefully, starting a new journey will help us produce many more books.
It has been two years since we have started our writing journey. Since then, we have been on Channel 7, LCTV, and WLVL radio show, AM Buffalo and TWC News. We never imagined that our book would inspire children to write, to speak up about their feelings, or would bring a different approach to literacy. We hope we will continue to inspire others, and that we will continue our father-and-daughter writing journey together.
