Who is the author “behind” the book?

Creative, intuitive, philosophical person by nature, I enjoy anything that is creative, challenging and innovative. With a blend of both analytical thoughts and philosophical perspective, I like to see through the nuances and perceive the bigger picture and the deeper meaning behind things. My writings reflect this nature of mine. I like to see the beauty and gather enjoyment through those moments or experience which often get overlooked, but bring immense joy when perceived in the right spirit. I like to adorn my writings with a dash of humor and affection, depending upon the storyline, which certainly makes them more enjoyable.

Do you have any particular literary influences that have helped you develop in your genre, subject and style?

I have enjoyed reading the literary works of eminent Indian writers like Rabindranath Tagore, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature and other well-known authors like Ruskin Bond, and R.K. Narayan whose narratives are lucid, beautiful, and has a subtle humor strewn through the writings that make them so enjoyable.

What inspired you to write your book, and how long did it take you to finish it?

Life is an inspiration in itself. If we just take moments to look around and live to each moment sincerely, we can find inspiration in a lot of things that’s right here around us. Whether we are going through a tough time or a good time, there’s a lesson in every phase that is teaching us something, if only we are truly mindful to those experiences.  I tried to bring out this thought through the different stories, which not only has an interesting tale but has a deeper meaning or realization woven between the lines.

While I had written a couple of stories earlier, it took me about a year and half to complete the stories and compile them, to ensure each one is unique and touches upon all kinds of emotions and experiences , so that each story carries a pristine feeling.

What is the one message you would like to convey to your readers?
